Description of Group:
The Italian Appreciative Inquiry Association (IAIA) was founded by a group of Sociologists, Professional Coaches, Consultants and some Educators on October 2007. The headquarter of Italian Appreciative Inquiry Association is geographically near to the National Sociologists Association headquarter, in Rome, and it is our goals to establish a close cooperation with this large Organization in order to be more effective in achieving the purposes of our respective associations. On January 15, 2008 we acquired the domain name license for Internet and, in December 2008, we will start to work with our website named: "www.assoappreciative.it".
Meetings:
The Italian Appreciative Inquiry Association (IAIA) meets at the headquarter (proudly hosted at the headquarter of the "American Coaching Institute TM" - Italy, by American Schools TM) every third Monday of the month from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on summer, and from 4:30pm to 7:30pm on winter. The summer break is on August. Our time zone is the CET (Central European Time): CET is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
Purpose of Group:
As the first legal Organization in Italy on Appreciative Inquiry, founded with a formal Notarial Act on October 31, 2007 (Italian Notarial Register #: VT-13259 on November 11, 2007 - Repertoire #: 75394), our commitment is, first, to create a large national community of practitioners to bring more knowledge about the theories, the tools and the best practices of Appreciative Inquiry in our Country, so that will can to promote the release of the potential within Organizations For Profits and Not for Profits, within Communities and within Schools, both in the Public and Private areas.
