ACS - Addictions Counseling Services

Description of Group:
ACS is Addictions Counseling Services and this is a research clinic for AI, PAR and content analysis in Integrative Therapeutic Instruction (ITI) featuring an approach entitled Transformative Self-Management (TSM). ACS is led by Ken Rabac, who has a doctorate in clinical addictions psychology, 2 counselors (and researchers, a 12 Step leader and about 60 clients in a social constuctivist environment. Ken is currently completing postdoctoral work at UNISA.
We currently incorporate AI into treatment and expect in the future to offer an AI group at the University of Central Florida. Contact us for more information about this group.
Meetings:
Therapy groups meet at 6:30 and 7:30 pm on Tuesdays. AI specific group TBA.
Purpose of Group:
The group's essential purpose is to provide addictions counseling here defined as integrative therapeutic instruction. The group also explores PAR,Content Analysis, TSM, ITI and is now engaged in creating therapeutic approaches to coping with psychopaths, psychospirituality and nicotine dependency.
