Twenty years experience of working in local and national social care services in UK. Research, inspection and development work focusing on achieving improvements for staff and service users. Increasingly using Appreciative Inquiry for research and development work including team building, organisational improvement, learning and building on 'what works' in education and social care settings. I have used AI in projects for the National Care Standards Commission, Royal Holloway, University of London and the Open University and Surestart (Department for Education and Skills and Department of Health). I am also a personal counsellor and facilitator and use AI in this work.
