Annotation: In 2000, David Cooperrider was invited by Richard Blum, a San Francisco investment banker, and Bishop Swing, leader of the United Religions Initiative, on behalf of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to facilitate the sessions of the Inter-religious Friendship Group. To date, the group has met in Washinginton, DC, Jerusalem, Israel, and Atlanta, Georgia. In the following reports, Cooperrider captures the intensity, significance and wonder of his experiences with the group in Israel and the Carter Center in Atlanta.
