Positive Change Corps Community Cleveland, OH United States
Date 11/06/2003
Annotation: The Leap of Faith: Re-Discovering the Wonder-Full World of Education took place November 6-7, 2003, on the campus of Case Western Reserve University, the Weatherhead School of Management. Co-sponsored by the Weatherhead School of Management and the Positive Change Corps, this gathering of 110 participants took on a life of its own. There were high school students, graduate students, professors, teachers, principals, school administrators, parents, consultants, community activists, youth developers, writers and other interested stakeholders. The gathering was a conversation using the Appreciative Inquiry 4-D cycle to discover the best of education and learning past/present, dream of the brightest possible future for teaching and learning, begin to design the kind of educational world that works for all, and then begin to identify the actions we need to take to move towards those visions.
