Annotation: The goal of this project was to facilitate the creation of an intentional plan for the mental health outreach services within the Calgary Health Region (CHR).
An extensive review of mental health outreach services undertaken in 2005-06, involved interviewing frontline staff from all outreach services. A seminal recommendation of this review was the development of a strategic plan for the multitude of outreach services characterized by fragmentation due to the large population dispersed over an extensive geographical area.
