Annotation: This project is a worldwide Appreciative Inquiry into chaordic leadership and organizing. This document outlines the process and early outcomes of Phase I of the Collective Chaordic Spirit project which is an Owning Member Initiative of the Chaordic Commons. Twenty-five trained interviewers conducted appreciative interviews with hundreds of change leaders in Europe, Canada and the U.S. to identify, describe and make conscious many vibrant examples of chaordic organizing. This document includes the interview guides, the early findings and future plans for implementing Phase II of Collective Chaordic Spirit. Design Team members are all members of the Chaordic Commons whose purpose is to develop, disseminate, and implement new concepts of organizing that result in more equitable sharing of power and wealth, improved health, and greater compatibility with the human spirit and biosphere. This document is a resource rich with examples of chaordic organizing and appreciative inquiry methods.
