Knox Early Years Project - December 2003 Report on Progress

Annotation: The Knox Early Years Project is located in Rowville, a suburb of Melbourne (Australia) with a population of approximately 30,000 people.
The project is about building community connections. It aims to help the Rowville community improve networks and services for families with children between birth and 6 years. This project is a partnership between Good Beginnings Australia, the Centre for Community Child Health and the Knox City Council. It is philanthropically funded through the R.E. Ross Trust and is one component of a more extensive initiative, designed to enhance services in the early childhood sector.
This report outlines the background to the project and describes progress to date - from July to December 2003. It includes information about the project design, the process that has been used to engage community members and what has been achieved so far. It also includes sample interview summaries.
