Annotation: These two PowerPoint presentations were used to introduce Appreciative Inquiry to school staff at a rural Secondary College, here in Australia on 4 May, 2004.
One was used for a presentation/keynote, introducing the concept and background of AI. The other was for a follow-on workshop, providing some experience of AI in practice.
Because the workshop was only 2 hours in duration, it covered only a relatively brief experience of AI - a "taste" so participants could decide whether or not this approach would be something they would like to implement at their school.
I take no credit for the content of these presentations. I owe a large debt of gratitude to a number of AI practitioners who have so generously shared their experiences and materials.
