The Story of World Vision: Bringing all Stakeholders together through AI

2004, Oct

Annotation: Setting the Goals that Change the World With Children

In June 2004, 150 people met in Bangkok for an Appreciative Inquiry Summit with the aim of creating "Big Goals" to further their vision. The summit participants represented the many stakeholders in the World Vision Partnership including children, families, communities, board members, donors, area development program leaders and staff from the World Vision national, regional and support offices around the world. During the course of the four-day summit, participants used the Four ā€œDā€ cycle of AI as a framework for creating strategic goals for the organization.
