AI Interview for Peace Advocates on their way to Washington DC

Annotation: I've been encouraged to share with
you a small, but important, piece of work I did recently. As one of the
organizers of a busload of peace marchers headed for Washington D.C. on Sat. January 18, 2003, I was tasked with figuring out what we could "do" with 54
people, many strangers to each other, on a bus for 4 hours each way. So...
I developed an AI protocol - what else ! It was fun to develop; a challenge
to get people to pair up with people they don't know in a moving vehicle;
and terribly exciting to hear all the stories buzzing around the bus. It
went over quite well. Now this may seem no surprise to all of you
experienced with the "magic" of AI. Everyone
LOVED IT! It was an inspiring day for all of us & the AI was just the thing
to get us going. I share this protocol with you in hopes that it gives some
of you ideas and inspiration for similar "adventures in AI."

Warmly,
Therese M. Miller
