2002, Apr

Annotation: Summit for the Animals is an organization of leaders of animal rights and animal protection organizations in the U.S. who gather annually for a 2-day networking and learning meeting. This 24-page handout was used to guide over 40 of these leaders through a 2-day strategic planning process using AI in the spring of 2002. The event was recognized by many attendees as the first successful planning event in the history of the organization. As of October 2003, the Inspired Action from this event - to move towards the development of a professional association for the animal movement - is moving forward on schedule.
